Hi my name is Tara Whelan and I too have been on my own healing journey and felt all these emotions in the past.
It started with someone once saying to me “keep doing what you’re doing, and you will keep getting what you’re getting”.
So, I chose to change.
Out of the changes I made in my life and new learnings Resilient Emotions was created.
From a young age I always remember the feeling or need to want to help people and knew that that was the career path I was destined for, so I became a Nurse. I started my career out in A&E and currently continue my love for this profession part time as a Practice Health Nurse specialising in wound care, and general health care from conception on in the health journey of life. As a nurse it became apparent to me that I could heal the physical external wounds, but the emotional wounds of my patients were not as easy to heal!
This opened my awareness and interest in the healing therapies to aid patients suffering with Stress and Dis – Ease in the mind and body which over long periods of time can contribute to a lot disease and illness both mentally and physically. As a medical professional I needed something based in science and that’s how I discovered Havening Techniques®. Fundamentally I just want to help, and guide people to heal, grow, and change so they can become the best versions of themselves and live the life they desire.
I am passionate about Resilient Emotions and how it can help my clients move forward to a brighter future.
It starts with you giving yourself time to heal from your past life while reconnecting with yourself in the present and seeing who you are now and what really makes you happy.
Resilient Emotions uses two healing modalities that are founded in neuroscience. Havening Techniques® and Future Life Progression which will guide you to clear your past, teach you tools for present day resilience and help you visualise your best optimised future.
These healing therapies allow us to work together to facilitate you in your own healing journey in an effective, gentle manner, while opening your awareness to what some of your issues may be. Giving you tools and techniques to manage your life more effectively while guiding you to see unused resources inside of yourself or missed opportunities. Because the therapies are neuroscience based and work with the mind, you will learn to gain more control over your thoughts, actions, behaviours, and your life in general.

Havening Therapy is a relatively new innovative neuroscience based therapy that is a gentle and effective treatment for emotional traumas, stresses, anxiety, fears and phobias that may be holding you back from being free to live the life you desire or being the person you want to be.
Havening Techniques® is otherwise known as Delta Wave Techniques as it uses simple touch to create delta waves in the brain. This is designed to change the brain to de–traumatise the memory which then helps to permanently eliminate and release unwanted feelings and emotions from both the body and mind.
It is also a highly effective tool and technique for enhancement of resilience and general wellbeing in life building confidence and self-esteem, encouraging personal and professional growth.
Havening Techniques® for Birth Trauma
If you have suffered from a Birth Trauma then Havening Techniques® is a gentle and effective therapy that permanently eliminates unwanted feelings both emotional or somatic from the distressing memory or event. This brings you to a sense of detachment or a safe place in your mind releasing all the trauma from the body
Resilient Rewire are simple but effective taught tools from neuroscience-based techniques to rewire your brain for less stress, higher resiliency, increased states of performance and productivity. Achieving proactive control over your mental state, emotions and behaviours.

Future Life Progression (FLP) is a form of meditation/hypnotherapy that relaxes you into a deep but alert state and opens your mind to your potential. FLP helps you to see beyond you’re your own imagination and explore the possibilities of the future.
Future Life Progression takes you forward in time to a place where you can explore the possibilities that extend from your own creation and the paths you choose to examine. With Resilient Emotions and our use of FLP you will begin to realise and work towards your best optimised future life.
How FLP Works?
If you feel like your life is stuck on hold then Future Life Progression can provide you with the tools to make renewed progress and move forward with confidence. It may also help you get over some anxiety regarding your future. By setting your intensions and desires you will be able choose a forward path and begin to make the changes needed to get you to your desired future.
Visualising a more evolved self, you will begin to make more positive decisions and actions. You will bring back important messages and energy from your future visualisation into present moment which will open up doors faster for you. This will create a sense of calm peace and confidence about your future.
The FLP Session
During the session you will have explored the possibilities of your future life. After a relaxed deep meditation you will return to normal, waking consciousness feeling more relaxed, confident and keen to start implementing the changes you saw clearly in your mind during meditation.
These images will be vivid enough for you to interpret them as a memory, because you will have explored happenings that feel true to life, rather like in a dreaming state.
This experience will bring with it new insights and personal knowledge that you can tap into during moments of stress or anxiety. This Future Life Progression experience will encourage you to continually make progress towards the future you have seen, felt and experienced, and so desire.
